THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BCC

     MARO is the founder and President of Balangkas Construction Corporation (BCC). He is the former Creative Director and Managing Director of MARO \ ORTEGA Design, then an affiliate architectural firm of BCC. He is the former Creative Consultant at McLeod Construction. He is currently the Chairman and President of Mayari Properties and Development, Inc. (MPDI) and the General Partner at Mayari Capital Partners Co. (MCPC). He studied Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). 

     Jolas served as the Corporate Treasurer and Corporate Secretary and is currently the Chairman of BCC.  He also handled various leadership role as Laboratory Technical Manager, Senior Evaluator of Veterinary Diagnostic Facilities, and QMS Auditor at the National Reference Laboratory for Animal Disease Diagnosis (BAI-ADDRL). He also worked in a Fin-tech start-up as a technical consultant and Vet Operations Lead. He is the CFO of MPDI, the Managing Partner at MCPC, and the President of Mayari Sierra Nature and Country Club, Inc (MSNCCI). He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from UPLB.

     Ariel is the general engineering consultant of BCC. He holds licenses in Civil Engineering and as Master Plumber. He specializes in construction materials, particularly in concrete. He recently completed his PhD in Civil Engineering in Rowan University, New Jersey, USA. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at UPLB. 

     Ericson was a Technical Advisor with over 2 years of experience of network troubleshooting and customer-handling before he joined BCC as Operation Officer, Project Manager, and now as its Finance Director and Corporate Treasurer. He also represents BCC on the Board of MPDI. 

     Alma is a licensed Civil Engineer who graduated from UPLB. She worked as an Estimator at Longridge Construction in 2012 and now as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in procurement at Advance Construction Trading and Contracting, WLL in Qatar. 

     Aid holds AB Sociology degree from UPLB. Prior to his ingress into the construction industry, he has taught social sciences in both junior and senior high schools for over five years in Bacoor City. He now serves as a Director for BCC. He is the co-founder of openuniversity.ph and a Partner of Macchiato UP in Luzon. 

     Benedict is a Civil Engineer with over 12 years of experience in structural engineering. His specialty is steel designing and detailing. He is adept in structural analysis of industrial facilities such as equipment structures, warehouses, and piperacks. He also engages in residential projects and mid- rise structures (steel and concrete designs). He is knowledgeable in structural engineering software, including ETABS, STAAD, SAP2000, SPcolumn, RiSA3d, RAM Connection, Risa Foot, and SAFE; and is well-versed with various building codes for concrete, steel, and composite design such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, IBC, and NSCP. He is the proprietor of BJMG Engineering Design Services.
